Mr Rory Orminston

Education

Rory studied medicine at the University of Southampton, graduating in 2016. He completed his foundation training in Portsmouth before undertaking core surgical training in Coventry and Warwickshire. In 2017, Rory passed the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS). He began Orthopaedic specialty training in 2022.

Experience

Rory has done his core surgical training in Birmingham and has been an orthopaedic resident in Hampshire since 2022. He is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Southampton.

Beliefs

Rory has a strong interest in musculoskeletal medicine and orthopaedics, with a particular focus on helping people maintain movement and independence. He believes that timely, practical treatments can make a real difference in reducing pain and improving quality of life.
